Tyrrell's Fifth Generation
Classic Dry White
"I nearly did a backflip when I tasted this phenomenal white. Made from a complex blend of Semillon, Chardonnay, Verdelho, Traminer and Sauvignon Blanc, it's nothing short of sensational and is my white wine of the year."

The reputation of Jacob's Creek wine has been built around wines that are fruit-driven with varying degrees of elegance, Three Vines is an attempt to take that one step further and ameliorate the fruity flavours of Australian wine with the savoury flavours of Southern Europe. A fresh, vibrant and contemporary drink-now style, with an emphasis on fruit expression. The third 'en vogue' varietal adds a new and attractive dimension to the main varieties.
The wine has a vibrant green straw colour. An attractive nose with appealing lemon citrus fruit, lanolin, green apples and fresh apricot fruit notes. The palate is medium bodied with wonderfully fresh acidity balanced with fruit “richness and texture” courtesy of the Viognier in the blend. Perfect accompaniment to foods such as seafood, salad and chicken. |
Vibrant crimson and purple. The nose shows layers of youthful, spicy Satsuma plum and dark cherry aromas, with anise and blueberry, black olive and savoury red fruits. Medium bodied, softly textured and with great fruit intensity. A balanced, complete wine, which has been artfully assembled so as to provide a wonderful partnership to a wide variety of cuisines and dining experiences. Try it with hearty Mediterranean dishes. |
The wine has a lovely vibrant pale crimson colour. The nose is brimming with red cherry, raspberry, spice and violets. Medium bodied with wonderfully fresh acidity. The traditional plum, raspberry, and creamy cassis are indicative of Shiraz and Grenache. The Sangiovese shows as a textured savouriness. This well balanced wine is the perfect match for spicy food or red berry desserts. |
