Meaning "good", Oomoo was one of the first red wines released by Thomas Hardy in the 1870's at this original Bankside winery, so to mark Hardys 150th Anniversary, Oomoo was revived as a classic McLaren Vale Shiraz. Today, Oomoo showcases the premium regions of South Australia, faithfully reflecting the special personality of each variety and place.
A rich bouquet of blackcurrant and sweet aromatic mocha oak is complemented by lifted aromas of sage and mint. Intense blackcurrant and red fruit characters integrate well with subtle French oak with firm and even tannins delivering great length of flavour.
