Tyrrell's Fifth Generation
Classic Dry White
"I nearly did a backflip when I tasted this phenomenal white. Made from a complex blend of Semillon, Chardonnay, Verdelho, Traminer and Sauvignon Blanc, it's nothing short of sensational and is my white wine of the year."

Hailing from the premium wine growing region of Margaret River, Devil's Lair forms part of the Great Estates that produce wines of the highest quality.
A strongly fruit driven wine with a good deal of interest and complexity. Intense Chardonnay fruit builds into a fantastic mouthful of flavours. Tight acid keeps the palate in check, keeping the flavours fresh and crisp. There is excellent balance, elegance and freshness with Chardonnay power and complexity. Team this wine with grilled or smoked fish or chicken cacciatore. |
The nose is bright fruity berry flavours overlaid with fruitcake and spice. Nice complex hints of chocolate and dusty oak make this very tempting. The palate shows soft and lush flavours with persistent berry characters subtley supported by a fine tannin structure. The finish displays superb length and a harmonious fruit to oak balance. Ideally suited to Seafood or Duck. |
The nose shows bright, fruity, lifted fruit and florals; cherries and strawberries with hints of flowers. Succulent and juicy with subtle hints of strawberry flan and orange blossom, this is surprisingly complex for a rosé, but nonttheless refreshing for it. Fresh, vital and vibrant, showing sweet juicy fruit on the mid-palate, with a clean, zingy finish. Great length of flavour, and a hint of those phenolics that good rosé needs to cleanse the palate. Ideally suited to Aperitif, Asian. |
No oak here, just a glass full of zesty vivacious fruit. This is spring. The palate is bright and brimming full of fruit; lychee, lime, citrus and fresh cut grass. This wine has a beautiful midpalate creamy texture followed by cleansing acidity. This wine is right on style, and everything you would expect from Fifth Leg. Throw some tasty shrimp and salmon skewers on the grill! |
