Tyrrell's Fifth Generation Cabernet Shiraz

download tasting note in PDF format Tyrrell's Fifth Generation
Cabernet Shiraz

Vibrant plum red in colour; the nose is appealing with sweet berry fruit, and hints of earth and spice. Designed for its softness and ‘immediate drinkability’, the palate is quite full flavoured, with spicy peppery overtones from the Shiraz, and blackcurrant flavours from the Cabernet. Medium weight tannins balance the acid resulting in a smooth, pleasant finish.

An easy-drinking red wine which matches well with beef or roast lamb, whilst also suitable with poultry or game bird dishes.

Bud Naked Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc

The Marlborough Region, on the north of New Zealand's south island, is renowned for its delectable Sauvignon Blanc.

This light and aromatic Sauvignon Blanc displays delightful varietal character. Tropical fruit and grassy herbaceous notes lead into a lively, crisp palate. Refreshing on its own or paired with light dishes and spicy meals; try with seafood or your favourite chicken dish.

Bud Naked McLaren Vale Shiraz Tempranillo

Bud Naked McLaren Vale Shiraz Tempranillo

Full-flavoured mediterranean grape varieties flourish in South Australia's McLaren Vale region. Shiraz from the Vale is a long-time favourite, while recent plantings of Spanish variety Tempranillo are gathering an enthusiastic following.

Lifted flavours of vibrant plum and red berry fruit are complemented by a hint of earthy spice. The generous, juicy palate is underpinned by savoury tannins. A versatile food wine, excellent with barbecued meats and pasta dishes.
